Louis J. Costanzo III, CPA, MBA, PFS, CGMA, CFP®, is the manager of Costanzo Woomer Nistendirk, PLLC, and is licensed to practice in the States of Ohio and West Virginia. Lou has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Marshall University. In addition, he has a Masters degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Xavier University.
Lou was employed by Coopers and Lybrand in Columbus, OH, for 7 years prior to starting his own firm in Wheeling, WV in 1976. Lou is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania Societies of CPAs.
Lou serves on the West Virginia Board of Accountancy and served as President of the West Virginia Society of CPA'S for the 2003-04 year. He is a prior member of the council of the AICPA. He has served as a member of the Tri-State Tax Institute, and is a past president of the Estate Planning Council of the Upper Ohio Valley. Lou has a West Virginia Insurance License, Series 7 Securities License and Series 66 Securities License and is a member of the AICPA Certified Forensic and Valuation Services division. In addition, Lou has served as a speaker at numerous seminars regarding accounting, tax and valuation issues, has taught courses at local colleges, and has written articles for professional journals.
